How it works
What is not invoiced yet, client by client
One row per client: how many cleans at how many addresses, the oldest date and the total. Nothing finished and priced can slip past unbilled, and a clean can only ever be billed once.
One line per clean, for builders
Each clean becomes a line saying what, where and when, with the builder’s lot or PO number: "Final clean · 101 Example Way (Lot 14) · Oct 12". Bill up to the end of a month with a Through date, or untick any clean.
Priced by the square foot, to the cent
A clean priced by the square foot bills as 2,100 × $0.125 with the rate kept to four decimals. Cleans priced by the square foot at a house nobody has measured are listed apart, so you can type the size in rather than lose the money.
Drafts for every client at once
Draft invoices for all makes a draft for every client with work owing, then lists them for you to check.
Four totals that add up
Overdue, Waiting to be paid, Not sent yet and Paid, with every invoice in exactly one. Overdue is worked out on your company’s own calendar.
Sent by link, signed to approve
The client opens the invoice from a private link on your letterhead, can download attachments, and can sign it to approve it. Print or save any invoice as a PDF.
Clients cannot pay an invoice by card online yet, and the app does not email invoices or chase overdue ones: you send the link yourself and mark it Sent and Paid. There are no part payments, and one tax rate applies per company.

Invoicing: questions
Can I bill a builder per house?
Yes. Each finished clean becomes its own line with the address and the builder’s lot or PO number, and you choose which cleans go on the invoice.
Can clients pay invoices online?
Not yet. Clients open and sign the invoice from its link; you take payment the way you do today and mark it Paid.
How is sales tax handled?
You set your tax name, number and percent once in Settings (for example GST at 5%). New invoices start with it, and each invoice keeps the tax it was made with.
Can I invoice a monthly contract?
Yes. An accepted quote becomes a draft invoice in one click, and you can write any invoice by hand with your own lines.
